CHECKS IN MOTION
Since starting my career in talent payroll over 20 years ago, I have been an innovator.  Recognizing the subtleties and complexities of talent, music and crew payroll, I have become an expert on the many union contracts and federal and state employment requirements that govern employment and compensation for performers and crew in advertising and production.  

But I also understand that payroll is much more than a business of details, and very early in my career implemented the practice of working one-on-one with clients to understand the big picture and make sure that the details are covered in support of the clients’ overall objectives.

Having worked in Florida throughout most of my career, I have a wealth of contacts and local knowledge for the regional market that facilitate getting things done quickly and efficiently.  Simply put I know the ins and outs of the business - who to call, what paperwork is required, and how to complete and file the forms (because no job is truly complete until all the paperwork is done) – and how to handle the unique, unusual and out of the ordinary situations that can arise in production and use.

I was also an early adopter of technology to optimize management of the files and records that accumulate with the details of payroll.  My innovative approach to customized software programs was a cost-effective tool in making client data accessible in a variety of formats for convenience in meeting reporting requirements and for ease of reference in managing commercial assets.

I bring extensive skills, knowledge and expertise, along with values and commitment to excellence in one-on-one service to her company, Checks in Motion, which I took over in 2001.  As the market and my own business have evolved, I once again brought my innovative approach to bear in addressing the challenge of maintaining the personalized “small company” character of my business while at the same time expanding my operations to meet the big business demands of the growing marketplace, by forming a strategic partnership with TEAM Services in 2004.

With TEAM providing back office infrastructure and support, Checks in Motion is poised for growth and new opportunities and innovations as I continue to provide the excellent service that is my hallmark and Checks in Motion’s commitment to its clients.
